What is Body?
Body gives you Dynamic Grading's core idea in its simplest form. It runs on the same engine and Source Learn technology as Dynamic Grading, with just a body control and a gain control. Ideal when you need impact fast, without faffing around with the settings of a conventional compressor.
Why only the body range?
Plenty of dynamics processors do upward or downward compression and expansion, working from above or below a threshold. Body works on the middle of a signal's dynamics, where most of the musical information sits. Source Learn finds that range for you as a quick starting point, and you can fine-tune the thresholds from there.
